Idk the yours or OPs situation but the start up costs of running a farm are pretty high. Not to mention the actual farming work part of it.
I’m sure you would know better than me but it’s either that or the bugs started coming back as soon as I got my new car. Which just happens to be less aerodynamic than my old one. Because the difference was instantly noticable. I drive about 10 hours back to my hometown to see my kid and noticed the difference the first time I did the drive with this car.
I don’t even listen to music anymore besides at the gym. It’s podcasts for me
I think it might be two things. Less bugs, and more aerodynamic cars. My last car almost had zero bugs on the windshield the 10 years I had it. My car now gets a decent amount every time I go on the highway.
Literally me, the US has fucked my brain. I have no hobbies because I feel like I should be making money off of them. Then I don’t feel like doing any of them because it’ll feel like a job.
I like poori too, goes really well with cholay. Naan is great but fills me up too fast (giggidy).
So I have no issues with parents setting their kids up for success. The problem is that almost every wealthy person that was “born on third base” acts like they came from middle class or lower. Good example is that video where the David Beckham meme came from. His wife comes from generations of royalty, and during an interview she said she came from a middle class family who had to drive her to school because the bus wouldn’t come to her house.
The bus couldn’t come because she lived in a fucking castle and her dad drove her to school a Bentley.
Then they portray us peasants in their movies. They also hide the fact that the majority of them were born rich and used mommy and daddy’s money to buy their way to fame. (Looking at you Taylor Swift)
OPs account age is 1 day, this single post and zero comments. Most likely a copy and paste bot, which is hilarious because what are they farming for here? There’s no karma!
I got mine today after a year on Lemmy. I was starting to feel left out.
I get bad service at my job and the reddit app won’t even load most of the time. I use Voyager with Lemmy and it loads just fine. I think it’s all the ads and trackers that reddit tries to load before the actual content.
Hope that McDonald’s worker is happy with their $50k. That’s like a whole ambulance ride plus some Tylenol.
Holy run-on sentences. I agree with you, but it was done, it’s already in the museums. Signing petitions and raising awareness of agencies/museums that are trying to get the stuff back is probably a better way to funnel your frustrations.
Just because Egypt is in Africa doesn’t automatically make Egyptians black. Look at a map. Northern Africa and Egypt were just as much part of southern Europe and the Middle East.

The developers have acknowledged the problem and say they’re working on a fix.
No thank you.
This is why I had to block them from my home feed. Way too many random posts that, because of the nature of the “rule”, aren’t very interesting.
My hope is that if enough people block an instance, it’ll just die out over time from not enough interaction.
The entire country would collapse if they did that. There would nothing to be president of.
Not to mention Jon Stewart, Jon Oliver, and the many other celebrities that shit on Trump. Plus all of MSNBC, CNN, and the other “left” news companies. I don’t imagine they have resources to do all that.
