i have crippling social anxiety and its near impossible for me to find new people irl that i get along with, sucks as my best friend is going through a lot and has distanced themselves from me for now and i have no one else on the same level that i can vibe with

That is hard, have had friends with anxiety that bad. Making friends the older you get is very hard, especially ones locally. Seems I can make friends easier online but IRL in my nearby areas I just cant make new friends.
Not those new people, they eat ice milk and cucumbers with cottage cheese.
