This doesn’t warrant a mic drop moment, so here’s some text to cushion the blow.

In a certain light these groups could be seen as having a yin-yang dynamic in the sense that both can be characterized as fundamentally lacking talent but one wallows in it and the other sees it as a gimmick.

Questions: Is a dude who smells but generally endeavours to stay out of your way than an ideological fuckboy with clout chasing tendencies? could any of these people have failed become the kind of person who votes for Trump?

    I’d like to throw Libertarians in that same cess pool.

    90% of them don’t know what Libertarian means, besides no taxes or regulations they don’t share any of the beliefs around personal liberty. They looove jack booted facist shit aimed at the left and minorities all in the name of law and order.

    They will hide behind it as a defense mechanism to side step any accountability for their voting record now that the Republican brand is completely fucked.

    “Ohh I voted for him but Trump doesn’t represent my beliefs, I’m a libertarian.”

    You are going to see a lot of hard core Republicans claiming to be something else as Trumps approval rating sinks further below 30%.

    I don’t think the two groups are as separate as you think.

    Sure, there’s a lot of assholes in the Jake/Logan Paul group who were always that kind of asshole

    But I’ve also seen more than a few of them who were neckbeard types who hit the gym and never really did anything to work on their personality.

      Wearing a fedora and m’ladying was their attempt to have a personality. When that went the way you’d predict, they went from, “I like memes, so I’ll be a living meme,” to, “I like shitposts, so I’ll be a living shitpost.”

    Don’t both stereotypes shit on women? I remember the neckbeard stereotype as an incel which hated women because of it - and i guess alpha males hate on women coz they have too much sex or some shit like that? I dunno both types sound dumb

      Neckbeard and incel aren’t circular intersections. Of course, there’re people who’re both, but ther’re plenty of incels who have nothing to do with neckbeard stuff and vice versa. If you take the school shooter stereotype, you’re almost exclusively in self conceived alpha male territory.

    Asmongold (the stinkiest of the stinkers) and whoever listens to him is certainly pro-Trump, and it makes entire sense, since the illusion of white supremacy is all a white, stupid, confused and amoral loser can have. But generally, they’re alright, IME. How much hatred and/or sociopathy can a man have whilst holding a daki and watching Girls und Panzer? 😅
