I think i posted about Greenland Energy before. Or at least i meant to. Basically its like one guy running around lying to Greenland municipalities about the economic benefits. He actually got pretty close to pulling this off. He had a deal with the existing company with the permits and the municipal government’s were on his side for a bit.

Anyway in the wake of this the central government moved the british license Greenland Energy wished to subcontract from, so they will have to wait until next year to drill.

Honestly Greenlandic media are much less hostile to this than is implied by the tone.
