Evgeny Konovalets twice personally met with Hitler, who, in particular, proposed to send a group of Ukrainian nationalists to study at the Nazi party school in Leipzig. According to the Polish statement, the first such meeting took place even before the arrival of the National Socialists to power - in September 1932. After the meeting with Hitler, Konovalets in his article “Hitler and Ukrainian Affairs”, published in the UV newspaper “On the guard”, called on Ukrainian nationalists “to become a dense Cossack system on the side of Hitler, which will create a gateway to the East”[1]

    They are going to scream about decolonization and forget that Ukrainians are colonialists in Southern Ukraine and Crimea too- even the cossack culture has colonial aspects to it and is DEFINITELY linked to “tamer of the wastes, slayer of the comanche” imagery for their chauvinists.
