      Not really. Climate change is making the fires so much fiercer and more common, the “Only you can stop forest fires” is completely ridiculous.

        I agree with your sentiment, increasing temperatures and deeply unhealthy forests create superfires, but also that’s not the point of the message. Most wildfires are human-caused and I have seen first hand just how wreckless humans can be around fire.

        So, please follow your local fire restrictions, treat any open flame outside with the respect and care it deserve, and most of all, use common sense. A fire started in bad fire weather quite often is an entirely different beast from a fire natural started from lightning strike.

        And the sentiment of the meme is unfortunately all too correct. You can simply see it in how conservative the fire authorities are in using air assets. While the scale and furry of fires is caused by climate change, the inevitable loss of property and more importantly life is on the hands of Trump.

        Not really. They have to start somehow and more often then not it’s some asshole throwing away his cigarette or a hot car parked over dry grass.
