Elon Musk revealed the successful implantation of a Neuralink brain implant in a human patient. The individual is recovering well, with promising results in neuron spike detection. Musk introduced the first product, Telepathy, enabling device control by thought, particularly beneficial for those with limb loss. Musk envisions improved communication, referencing Stephen Hawking's potential to communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer through this technology.

In the days of yore. The person that build a canon was demanded to sit on it, the first time it was fired as a sort of quality control.

I think we need to bring that back for things like this

To be fair if you’re stupid enough to let him put one of his chips in your head your brain probably does need a little more processing power

What would be the definition of ‘successful’ in this case, I wonder…

What an exciting time for people with disabilities.

I know everyone will shit on it because Musk.

But let’s be honest he hasn’t had any input into this except investment.
