Which is why I kinda get the judges decision of “I don’t really know what to do because they’re literal children”, but that can’t be the end. There needs to be serious investigation into why they did this and how they were allowed to get away with it.
Ideally a situation like this would help motivate societal change about how we educate and interact with young boys, and find out what circumstances the boys were put in that allowed them to develop this sort of antisocial behavior.
You don’t fix the problem by saying boys will be boys, you fix it by finding out why you keep having to fucking say that.
