    He met his wife on Hinge in 2021 so he had it set to at least 24 when he was 31. She’s 28 now btw which means if he had the age any higher they literally wouldn’t have met, she was 24 when they met.

    This is all nonsense and nobody is pushing this as a bad thing in good-faith.

      Do people not realise that is completely normal, in fact perfectly average, for the man to be a few years older in most heterosexual couples? Think the average gap is 2-4 years in most countries. Like this is just how life works out for the most part, across cultures and continents. This is how the world works, I have no idea why people are trying to shame perfectly normal human behaviour. The real world is not an eternal middle school, high school or undergraduate university/college, thank God.

        I don’t think we should tolerate something because it is normal, we should tolerate it for actually being harmless (and this is harmless). There are countless practices that are “normal” and pointlessly harmful.
