I really enjoyed his “C for Dummies” back in the day. While the tech aspect was obsolescing rapidly (mid-90s, before Linux/gcc took over, so it had to provide distinct guidance for Borland vs Microsoft compilers) the writing style was entertaining. The sample programme was “Goodbye, cruel world” instead of the universal “Hello Wprld”. If he can be that witty on demand, maybe he can play at politics too.
