    As an Australian:

I can only hope that this potential influx of investment can revitalise our entertainment industry and rescue us from its current mediocrity of bland reality TV and talk-shows.

We are capable of putting together world-class quality entertainment when given the opportunity - Bluey being probably the most notable recent example.

Yeah they’re going to make cheap shit reality TV and fudge the finance numbers.

“Ten cent mining company” where we follow can collectors around while they collect cans.

This has been a law where I love for a while now and the percentage is even bigger. And I’m glad to say we got some good shows and movies out of this.

Australia is fucking dumb. Palantir control the facial recognition at supermarkets, and self-driving mining trucks, palmer lucky constructs Australia’s loitering munitions, bezos controls the government’s storage of confidential documents… Now they want netflix involved in the cultural media?

It’s just inviting the devil in, and expecting it to behave. Grow the fuck up.

I’m Australian, dumb ass… And when I say “Australia” I’m referring to successive governments.
