Looking for an Android app that tells me what task to do next

I’m looking for an app to manage recurring household tasks. Some things I do daily, some weekly, some twice a month. I want something that can show me what’s next instead of just a list of everything.

I’m not looking for a scheduler like Google Calendar. I don’t want to assign fixed dates or times to tasks. Instead:

Whenever I cross off a task, it should sit inactive until the next recurrence interval
Then it should automatically become active again
And I want the app to show me which task I have to perform next

Any recommendations for an Android app to notify me of recurring chores when it’s time to perform them again?

Interesting… I use that as well, but I have reminders based on time. Can you explain how you set it up to function the way you want it to?
