Premier Danielle Smith has used the ‘notwithstanding clause’ to shield the strike-breaking bill from a court challenge.

Let me ask you something, why the fuck would the feds help Alberta? For real though, why would they? I remember back in 2014 in the middle of the oil crash watching coworker after coworker get laid off from their high paying O&G jobs while the federal government extended EI benefits to them, continue to blame all their woes on a liberal government that had nothing to do with a middle eastern, Russian and US Shale production Oil glut. Alberta continues to play the victim in federal politics saying “Ottawa never helps us” even when the liberals bought and funded the completion of a pipeline that was so unpopular that it barely made it across the finish line and had to be forced through jurisdictions that didn’t want it there.

And okay let’s talk Danielle smith and fucking diversification. Who fucking cares about hydrogen cars? Who’s using them? What are people actually using, OH BEVS AND PHEVS, and they are a pretty good solution with sound technology? WEIRD. Maybe she shouldn’t have put an axe through our solar and wind renewable market and scared of investors from the province with the excuse of “windmills messing with the view of the Rockies” but slyly pushing for coal mining in the eastern rockies at the same time. I mean I can walk out my front door right now, walk across the street and look at a natural gas processing plant fucking flare up with the rockies as a back drop.

You want the feds to support Alberta farmers? Tell them To stop voting conservative, every single fucking time. Make them into a voting block that will vote for whatever party will actually move away from aligning on every US policy even if its detrimental to our relationship with foreign (Chinese) buyers.

    Fucking joke province sometimes.

More insults without substantive solutions, more failing to address the root cause of issues, more adding to the negativity of the back and forth, and more dismissing people because “it’s so simple guys, just stop” as if that was a viable approach to anything.

Note how at no point did I insult the feds or voters elsewhere across the country, and yet all the responses insult not just the Alberta government, but Albertan voters, and Albertans in general, all while over-simplifying how to address the issues at hand and dismissing genuine concerns that people here have.

I’m not a Conservative, but when Liberals and the NDP treat people here like this, it’s not hard to see why they stick to the same each election cycle.

No, I think you are a conservative because usually when folks take this position that’s exactly what they say. This whole pity fest a truly Albertan past time.

Read my post and comment history and come back to me. Your “gotcha” is completely hot air and lacks substance.

Once again, you and everyone here is just hating on me for where I was born and raised, and not on my talking points.

Prove to me otherwise. You berated people here with insults and blanketed me as “just another stupid conservative Albertan” simply because I decided to say "hey, maybe it’s wrong to call Albertans “fucking pussies” when the facts of the matter are that unions and such are fighting back, but hey, advocating for unions, the biggest conservative talking point ever.

How about YOU prove us wrong. How about YOU refute my points. I have no obligation toi you, I’m telling the side I see everyday living in Alberta.

YOU’RE making accusatory statements of me, THE ONUS IS ON YOU to prove it
