I strained my trapezius after hitting the mat a bit hard while sparing recently. After a few days in constant pain I tried an acupuncturist. The first thing she did was put a few needles in my head and the pain was instantly gone. After a few hours of needles, cupping and electrodes I had a lot less pain and after a day I was fine.
I honestly can’t knock it. There’s centuries of data to support its effects. Haven’t experienced it myself, just making use of the “pseudo science” joke at play.
Oh definitely. A lot of the reasons they have for why it works is total fiction. Would be cool to see some work trying to understand it using the scientific method.
