All of this conservative rage bait is distraction. They don’t want you to figure out that corporations that don’t pay taxes get more welfare in Canada than Canadian taxpayers do. They don’t want you to figure out that it isn’t immigrants that are taking your jobs but those same corporations that can’t pay you any less sending your jobs somewhere where they can pay people less. They don’t want you to figure out that they are bought and paid for by those same corporations. They are setting the stage for a MAGA style assault on the rights of everyone who isn’t a white, wealthy Christian man or that they are the real people that we should “save the children” from.
