But also you’re trying to say that education hasn’t helped? Also those fields aren’t exactly teaching “how to convince people without facts” though I might agree that there is a level of understanding human relationships that goes on, to varying degrees, with some of them. The psychologists and social science people may have an edge, though either people refuse to listen to them flat-out or they refuse to engage in blatant progaganda.

It doesn’t help that “the left” in the US is a Democrat party full of centrists and conservatives who absolutely do not care. They don’t even want to do what’s best for people in the first place, and they have some hard-coded rules for themselves that are much harder to break through than just busting out you social sciences wand and casting a spell.

In the US there are 4 million graduates each year. Let’s assume there are 10,000 left leaning students with a degree each year. They don’t have to break into anything, they could be their own thing.

If it takes blatant propaganda to prevent fascism, why would that be off limit? There are enough people to organise change but for them, the most reasonable thing to do is to get a job. It’s beautiful how fragile the system is defended, but also how effective it is.
