    Elaborate please?

I run into tons of them constantly, people who only know about marvel and have no knowledge of anything important or current except celebrities and meaningless bullshit, or who are just normal working class folks with too much work and too little time to give a fuck about anything not relating to their job, so I’m wondering if I misunderstand what you’re sayin

Their political views are comprised of vibes and assumptions they learned to make 30 years ago, like voting blue is good, and whatever they heard on nbc last, that’s kind of central to my personal definition of a normie, especially politically

I mean it different from a “blue no matter who” mindset, Most folks around me seem to understand in a vague nebulous way that democrats are somehow good and nice, and if the tv says they’re still good an nice and the other guy is mean or unelectable they buy it unless they have someone in their life to talk them around, politicaly ‘active’ insofar as would probably vote, but completely alienated from the reality they are taking part in
