Even a top Trudeau advisor is openly telling the press that it’s “mind-boggling” he was invited. At least 2 MPs and a Liberal party staffer are also speaking out. It’s indefensible, and I have to seriously question the motives and principles of anyone trying to defend it.
If it keeps them from doing anything worse for a little while, I fully appreciate Carney sitting through a speech by another blowhard.
