I usually buy my computers used when they are dirt cheap. That means, I typically come about 10 years after everyone else regarding new games. It works just fine, except for some unfriendly people who like to spread spoilers. Also, especially with Bethesda’s games, by the 10-year-mark, typically already over 70 % of the game’s bugs have been fixed, which is nice!
(My current computer is kind of a powerhouse, though! It can run both Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV with full graphic settings. Of course not the remastered editions, but it’s still awesome getting to play those with my own computer now! Fallout:NV I did play almost completely through on a computer that I was able to regularly use elsewhere)
