    I’m honestly curious, why can’t you just buy a block of tofu, press it, and crumble it yourself?

    I’m not trying to inject any type of snide attitude I’m genuinely interested because I love to cook and I like tofu. I just have never used this product being talked about so I’m not certain what the difference would be.

      It’s certainly doable. They just had a really nice ground beef flavour tofu that was literally perfect IMO. I guess we’ll have to DIY from now on.

      If they meant the ground “beef” it wasn’t so much tofu as Texturized Vegetable Protein. Honestly it is a highly processes food product and normal tofu is probably better for you
