I went to an all girl’s school which was fucking awful, nasty environment. Disordered eating was a way of life and I honestly believed it was normal to purge after eating and restrict food intake.

Yep, it really was. Institutionalised.
A little more mundane than most, I guess, but I never thought twice in my entire life about eating noodles for breakfast. Or other such “lunch” and “dinner” things in the west. It took me going to a camp-out to realize that breakfast cereal was actually a thing. (I’d always thought it was candy when passing it in the grocery store.)
Honestly, with the amounts of sugar in it, most cereals are pretty much candy.

Period pain that made it difficult to focus on regular activities. Also that any obgyn could treat endometriosis.
Used to feel guilty for saying no. (I’m fully locked into my rebel phase now and I’m not sorry 💅 )
