It’s a bit too close to the line for my comfort.

I did not remove it but it was reported and I thought it was worth leaving up for discussion. Should definitely make it more clear because on its own that is a horrible post title no matter the context.

I see your concern and am against anti-natalism, but I don’t see this as that. I see this as calling out the bourgeoisie complaining that labor is not reproducing itself in order to be able to create workers that they can steal surplus value from in the future. My opinion is that it’s fine, so I’m glad you left it.

Focused on the complaint and agnostic about the motivations for falling birthrate.

Ecofacism isn’t people choosing not to have children but is the controlling of who does have children under the guise of environmentalism. It often includes gating others out of areas while claiming they breed to much. Meanwhile those within the gated area use many times more resources.

As to the second part of the title you can include me in the list of people who will birth no new slaves and call it what you will. Every human has a right to make that choice which is sadly sometimes stolen from them

Mate I’ve been sitting here for like 15 minutes and am genuinely struggling to work out how people acknowledging their material conditions and ethical concerns of obliging a human into those conditions, in which the child will be responsible for supporting you physically and financially for the rest of your life, and choosing not to have children, is antinatalism, and if it is, how that is wrongthink
