looks like homestuck inc. abused and exploited the dedicated fans that made an amazing archive of the webcomic (including an emulator for its interactive elements) and then killed it when they couldn’t steal it from them.

Yeah, same here. People speak really highly of it, but I bounced off it hard every time I tried it. Just not for me I guess (which is fine).
