    no ty

Really not looking for Europe to be behind in AI, they’ll be dependent on the USA/China and others who power ahead

For a start feel free to list all the OpenSource AI companies and models made in Europe :D

And then tell me which ones are competitive and not junk

For those of you at home this idea of OpenSource and Europe can win is pure copium, Europe is not even on the map in terms of AI power (America and China are far more ahead), Frances Mistral is the only one close and they are way off the top spots.

A quick look at the rankings https://lifearchitect.ai/models-table/

But you can simply compare the models on any AI comparison website

All that will happen is China and the USA will break through barriers and then Europe will inevitably use them instead of Europes own models because they won’t do what we want

So it’s absolutely critical that European AI is given as small a leash as possible and more funding to compete.
