    It’s looking more and more like China will be filling a certain obvious power void in the near future. I wish our era would get less interesting already 😕

      Fun fact if your government actively tries to keep its shit together and makes a modicum of effort to protect the middle class then your nation should prosper. China is currently doing this.

          True but I think the important thing to note is that their prosperity is not really a direct consequence of the dystopian shit. Something that could not necessarily be said of e.g. the big tech companies of our time.

    I was wondering when we’d start hearing of brain drain to China so sounds about right. Hopefully the West gets its shit together because as part of that brain drain I do not wanna go to China.

      To be fair I also never understood people who were considered smart and moved to the US for brain drain related reasons.
