My partner is looking for some snappy educational content to use at a group discussion they’re running, basically some conversation starters about capitalism and its problems. They’re not looking for anything preachy or overly like “YOU MUST DO THIS”, just more facts or observations. Think “theory lite”. The kind of thing that might get someone to start asking the right kinds of questions. Stuff that’s quick…couple minutes or less, TikTok/Rednote, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, or like infographics, memes, images, that sort of thing. It’s meant to be used as discussion starters and lite educational content for some groups they’re working on.
This content should be real short, like no more than a couple of minutes, preferably less.
I see that kind of content all the time on Hexbear and often share with them. I think the way they phrased it was “why don’t you go ask all your lefty internet weirdos if they can help me with this.” I know you can. PROVE TO THEM THE POWER OF TERMINALLY ONLINE SHITPOSTERS.
They’re pretty explicitly anti-capitalist anarchist leaning themselves but don’t really care what lens the content is through as long as it’s left adjacent enough that they can use it for broader discussion starters among less obviously left adjacent people.
Hopefully that makes sense. Help us out comrades, my partner is genuinely doing praxis here (and often does) and this is yet another real good way for us to turn our silly internet thing into some real world educational and/or therapeutic action that can make real difference to real people.
And also beyond just helping my partner, if we all work together to compile a big list of things it’ll be a neat little repository for others to look at in the future.
Anyway thanks as always.

The one from I’m a Virgo clocks in under two minutes and goes over a bunch, with slick presentation and animation and performance.
I always feel bad sharing that clip. It’s so awesome but, like laying the groundwork for that moment is basically the reason for the entire show; It all builds to that moment, and we’re just taking away all the work Boots put in preparing the audience’s receptivity towards her message and passing it around completely devoid of context.
That makes sense. Tried getting people to watch it and they either don’t or say it’s too weird. Show is great but seemingly has a barrier to entry, and sometimes try to share that clip or the death penalty one hoping someone new gives it a chance that otherwise wouldn’t.
Yeah, I feel like it’s gonna be one of those shows that’s a cult classic in a few years but for now it missed its chance in the zeitgeist because its original release got nerfed because of the writers strike. We need more memes for it though. I shared the death penalty scene as soon as the episode ended.
