I’m cis, but it seems like there’s some overlap, and it feels off for a liberal to just call it “drag”.
Im trans and it doesnt feel transphobic to me at all. Cis people can perform drag of their own gender, see Cher, Chappel Roan, Lady Gaga. It’s about the exaggerated performance of gender. It’s less common to hear people say it about men acting manly, but the concept still applies
