      Only if you’ve got an OLED display, for LCDs you’re using roughly the same energy as long as your display’s backlight is on.

        They’re not talking the amount of use, but just the sheer fact that if you see an electric light in a video game, it’s being powered by real world electricity, just like a normal light is.
