    That’s why when you ask, you formulate the question like you know where it is and are just looking for confirmation, for example “Hey honey, the bread is in the pantry, right?”

      Why put the burden on your partner when you could simply look yourself? Your partner doesn’t need to run the entire household, you’re a grown person. Look, then ask if you can’t find it. “I thought we had bread, I checked the pantry but wanted to make sure I didn’t miss it?”
