Googling with double quotes is your friend - “in 1918 in the midst” “upheaval in moscow”. The trick used to be fantastic. But google changed things. The problem now is google sometimes helps by ignoring the double quotes which fucks the searches. And you can’t disable that help.
I did end up finding it, had to look back in my book pdfs a long while
