If you want an alternative, how about not giving it all to anyone? How about judging the company on their values and practices rather than their size?

You hit a false dichotomy. “Not your allies” does not automatically mean “class traitors”. They might be neutral.

Remember: Just because a business is small doesn’t mean it’s automatically better. For example, if Bezos ran a corner shop with only three employees, he’d still try and stop them from taking toilet breaks.
My assumption is First Time Mother.
In apartment terms:
The 196 landlords wanted to move to another city because they didn’t like this city’s mayor’s authority. The 196 tenants like the city, because it’s inclusive and the mayor is a pretty cool gal, and saw the landlords’ city of choice as significantly worse for a LOT of reasons. Regardless, the landlords locked the building and expected all the tenants to move with them at a moment’s notice.
So some cool people found a different building in the original city and used that, all while telling the original landlords how dumb and bad they were for their little stunt. The original landlords eventually relented and opened the old building, but the new building remained with different landlords.
No, a tool is a thing someone uses to carry out their design by themself. An AI does it for you without any input after the initial instruction. They are not tools any more than an employee is.
You’re either an idiot or a liar. I’ll let you decide which, but as I said before, I am done with you. I’m sure, as someone who assumes and mocks someone else’s feelings, you’ll take this with grace and move on from a lost cause.
The reality of the matter “its just a tool” is both literally just factual it IS the reality.
No it’s not. The only input you have with an AI is telling it to do something, which is less like a hammer and more like an employee. AI is not, in any way, a tool.
I’m not going to insult your intelligence by saying you don’t already know this. I’m not going to insult your morality by saying you do already know this. I’m just going to leave.
What about being mad at gun manufacturers and merchants? Instead of fighting the guy with the gun, fight the guy supplying the guns to prevent future incidents. Fight the cause, not just the symptom.
Also, “it’s a tool” is one of the most annoying pieces of pro-AI propaganda I keep seeing. Nobody who uses AI treats it like a tool; they treat it like an employee they can take the credit from. They only ever call it a tool when they want to defend it, as if a shitty tool is somehow absolved of its crimes by being a tool.
“First they came for the programmers, and I did not fight, because I am not a programmer.”
Of course, the weebs just call it AkuSei, but we have no way of knowing that.
Nah, you’re valid for this. Anger has purpose. You could resign yourself to the sad life of AI dominance, or you can get mad and set fire to a data center.
I wish AI were so benign that “2 posts in a month” could be considered excessive, but it’s not.
“Alright, who wants to get inside the horse?” “Is this a trick question?”

Trust me, you don’t need a stamina bar for people to do that. But those people are wrong and we should not humour them.
…Am I a crow? Because this scares me.
You honestly think I did my homework?

For me, at least, “like D&D” can mean a lot of things. There are some games where you can tell their starting design point was just D&D, and everything else is either a tweak, a replacement or an addition. It doesn’t matter what gets changed, so long as it’s obvious what it was changed from.
The Fantasy Age system does a lot of things differently, but you can still tell they were working with D&D as their base design. You roll 3d6, but you still add your ability (and a skill bonus if you have the skill) and compare it to a target number.

Okay, but if your cyperpunk RPG has “d20 plus modifier vs target number” action resolution, 4-8 ability scores, skill bonuses, feats, classes, races/ancestries/backgrounds… You’re going to need to explain how it’s NOT like D&D. And if you proceed to describe PbtA, I will laugh at you.
I won’t shame you for being like D&D. I will shame you for pretending you’re not.
I will remind you that content mods are employees, not the company. They have no choice in what the platform hosts.
Also, stop putting “forced” in quotes. You’re not quoting anyone.
Robert Caro disagrees. Power does not corrupt, it reveals. If you somehow became a billionaire, you’d be able to do whatever you wanted, which means we’d be able to see what you wanted to do. If you start acting evil once you get money, it means you were evil but unable to act on it until you had money.
Specifically about Amazon, Bezos made it because he wanted to cash in on the early internet with his own startup, leaving a Wall Street firm to do so. And, yes, we was a dick to his only employee, which is why the man quit after only 5 years.
