2·10 days agoa better option that doesn’t require specific steps depending on your TV model is just to use a small media PC strapped to the back. and then disable network access for the TV. the benefit of this is that when you buy a new PC, you don’t have to do any research to find out which ones you can jailbreak, because any TV works.
you can then control the media PC with a cheap Bluetooth keyboard/touchpad combo. there are plenty of models available that are no bigger than a large remote and have excellent battery life.

absolutely at all time. I can’t say that I see many captchas. I think the last one was for some site I used a couple weeks back that used google recaptcha. it’s pretty rare for me to see one.
2·1 month agothere’s loads of things you can do with it, but arguably one of the best is making it a media PC. if you sail the high seas, then a full Servarr stack is really nice to have.

it’s real, and not uncommon in AI projects. for example, in Hermes, to setup ComfyUI to work with it, you literally just prompt “setup comfyui” and it handles the install and configuration, including downloading any models you want.

for browsing, use Waterfox with uBlock Origin. for apps and the rest of the system, use a VPN that blocks ads like Proton, or use a Pihole.
