  • I’m sorry, wasn’t this you victim blaming hours ago?

Ah yes, let’s keep painting everyone dating some redpill asshole as a gigantic powerless victim who needs help from men to be freed. Give me a fucking break.

If you choose to fuck a known redpill male, you are an asshole and you deserve to be called out for it. I’m sick of this bullshit mentality that people’s sexual choices are beyond reproach, and if anything goes wrong with them, then they are a victim and it’s someone else’s fault.

I’m feel for people who are actually victims of abuse, but not for people who made a shitty choice and now want to offload their role in the decision to “society”.

Amazing how you can drum up all this sympathy for red pilled men - which I agree with on some level, because usually targeted, vulnerable men turn to these communities and are in many ways victims themselves - but you are so hostile to the people they mistreat and put so much onus on the victims they then target to do something about it. Not to mention your whole point was “they’re not all victims” while also arguing these men are “misunderstood” and need help at the “societal level” - not their partners though! That’s the woman’s fault for sticking around.

It’s unbelievable. You’re tying yourself up in knots to make this idea work.

  • Look, I wanted to come back and apologize. We are clearly ganging up on you a little bit here and this has gotten kind of nasty. I’m sorry for my part in it, and I don’t like being a bully/contributing to negativity online. Yet I did, and I own that.

I seriously, honestly insist that you take a look at what we were talking about earlier and really assess the discussion critically. I imagine you mean well, but thereare some seriously troubling implications with your rhetoric and the way you are talking about these subjects. You don’t have to agree with us, but I think if you take a step back and just give it some thought you might see at least some small thing worth addressing or reconsidering. Have a good one, sorry again

I have said several times I have gimp and support them. I didn’t think they just discovered it - I’m saying the fact that in 2025 they just implemented it is indicative of why I say they’re behind.

They do good work. Yes they’re a small team. It doesn’t change the fact that the software has limitations.

The question isn’t “are they working hard?” or “are they doing a lot for what they are/their size?” It’s “how does it stack against PS?” And of course they can’t hang with the billion dollar international company with an army of programmers.

  • If you’re getting down and dirty with color correction, object removal/replacement, and just depend on a lot of plug-in’s for your sauce, Affinity is lacking. Most people who use photoshop, however, do not need all that. Affinity is a solid program that definitely works for prosumers and below, as well as some professionals (depending on use case).

And I get it’s not popular to talk about but Adobe has fully embraced AI and some of their tools are legit. I don’t use it, but some folks really like firefly.

  • As much as I am loath to admit it, nothing comes close to feature parity with Photoshop. All the others are pretty replaceable, but if you are a professional who depends on a lot of the really advanced features you’re going to have a hard time replacing it. GiMP isn’t even close tbh. I admire the work they’re doing but they are a decade behind PS.

Good news is that is not most people.
