There is also SNOOcalypse dedicated for people who want to vent about Reddit.
OP could have posted this in !Reddit@lemmy.ml
, !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml
or even !technology@lemmy.ml
.
Trying to browse Lemmy and 1 of 3 posts is about Reddit, and none of them are on !reddit@lemmy.ml or !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml
Lemmy for now is just a circlejerk about Reddit.
Made some posts about reddit on those communities and other news on others, but I see Reddit posts everywhere from c/tech to c/lennyworld, mods should review their rules and start redirecting posts
I agree, this belongs on !RedditMigration , !snoocalypse, !Reddit or something similar.
Enjoying the Reddit self-destruction but the content doesn’t have much with the lemmy.world server. Maybe post to Reddit@lemmy.ml, !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml or !technology@lemmy.ml?
I feel you, ever since i came to lemmy its been non stop reddit shit talking.
These are the reddit subs i found if you wanna block them !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml !reddit@lemmy.ml !reddit@lemmy.world !RedditMigration@kbin.social
It means that when you link a community with URL (like https://lemmy.ml/c/snoocalypse), it will not work for people who are not on lemmy.ml, because they won’t be logged in on lemmy.ml. If you link like !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml, the instances will open the link correctly (so for example I am on lemmings.world, and the link for me will be transformed into https://lemmings.world/c/snoocalypse@lemmy.ml which allows me to interact with the community).
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml, !snoocalypse@lemmy.ml
