IMDb:
Update: The IMDb has the wrong birthday at the time of this posting. I submitted the correct date, July 18.
I JUST finished the series this weekend. Drummer was one of my favorite characters.
Not posting spoilers but I wish I could see what happens after the finale.
On to the books, I guess!
When you read the books make sure you start from the beginning. There are lots of plotlines that aren’t in the show as well as characters that are changed or combined with other characters. Drummer is notably different and more important in the show than in the books because in the show she is basically an amalgamation of like 4 or 5 different book characters.
For me the third and last book trilogy was even better than the rest, a shame it didn’t make it into the show.
TV Drummer > Book Drummer and it’s in great part thanks to Cara Gee.
I’ve been working through the books (just finished Babylon’s Ashes) and I was astounded at how small Drummer’s role was. In the show her character covers Bull, Pa, and probably others I’ve forgotten by now.
Her performance in The Expanse was very captivating amid several other exceptional standouts as well.
Her and David Strathairn were so great in The Expanse. The first three seasons of The Expanse were so excellent.
Wikipedia says she was born July 18 with two sources, one being one of her tweets, confirming it.

😊
It’s only one source. The other one doesn’t mention her birthday. The Twitter source is marked with “better source needed.”
IMDb and TMDB say it’s today. One The Expanse fandom wiki says it on October 2nd. Some astrology site and TVMAZE mention September 2nd.
She mentioned her birthday multiple times on Twitter/X, so July 18 may be the correct date. Let’s see if I can change it in the IMDb.
Cara Gee was incredible as Drummer, doing whatever task was given, despite sacrifice, if it benefited her people. Soft as velvet and hard as vacuum.
