The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to allow National Guard troops into Chicago after a lower court sided with the governor and blocked the deployment.
Dementia is really taking hold on poor old pervert.
President Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social on Tuesday, saying to “CALL IN THE TROOPS” to save “The Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Chicago” – which doesn’t exist.
“The Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Chicago, once considered our Nation’s BEST, now has a more than 28% vacancy factor, and is ready to call it quits unless something is done about the murder and crime, which is prevalent throughout the City,” Trump wrote, adding:
CALL IN THE TROOPS, FAST, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! “Just the News”
Media outlets were quick to report that no such shopping center exists, however. “Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Monroeville, Pennsylvania, all have shopping malls or centers by that name, but none exist in Chicago or even in Illinois. There is, however, a Magnificent Mile shopping district in Chicago, which the president likely was referring to. The Magnificent Mile spans 13 blocks in downtown Chicago and offers high-end shopping and fine dining,” wrote Kelly Corbett for Syracuse.com.
Don’t forget the office vacancy rate in downtown Chicago matches his number. So someone told him there was 28% office vacancy, and someone told him there was a “Magnificent Mile” shopping district, and he conflated it to miracle mile shopping center 28% vacant because crime
