I’m assuming you mean Ian “H” Watkins from Steps. I was 14 when they became big and remember teenage boys absolutely hating them in the way they hate everything else aimed at teenage girls or young queer people, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those death threats weren’t a mistake.
