this site hates AI but you could 1000% do this with chatgpt lmao

that dumb streamer my gf likes who makes way too much money, CaseOh, was playing some shit like that the other night, some game called “Suck Up” where you’re a vampire who has to convince AI-driven NPCs to let you inside so you can eat them

kind of a neat idea but the limitations of LLMs show themselves very quickly and very frequently, like this guy who “agreed” to let him inside, the dialogue was referencing being inside, but they weren’t “inside” (the game basically boiled down to “you need 3 positive responses and they’ll let you in” it seemed like, but the LLM was like “sure come inside” on the first response)

also fun hell fact but the fucking game, which you pay for, has tokens. buying the game “gives you 10000 tokens” which the devs claim is enough for 50 hours of gameplay, but then woops it stops working or you gotta buy more lol

Offloading tokens onto the player is so bizarre compared to running a local model, gamers will accept basically anything even if it makes their PC run like crap, i.e. ark survival evolved

I enjoyed that game. It’s definitely possible to abuse the LLM, but when you play it based off it’s original premise, it’s a pretty neat concept only achievable through AI.
