Goodyear came up with a sustainable tire a couple of years ago and I think one of the Finnish companies did as well. Not sure how widely available they are though.

Nokian Tires. Luckily they are getting easier to find in Canada. And it’s not just one tire, it’s their entire product line.

“Nokian Tyres was the first tire company to eliminate the use of harmful oils in our tire compounds, and we did so without compromising the grip and safety of our tires. We only use purified oils in our tire production – no toxic or carcinogenic chemicals.”

They also make the best winter tires, in fact they invented the winter tire.
