Am I the only one who thinks that TNG’s “old person” masks always looked absolutely creepy? I mean, even my wife’s 98 years old grandmother who spend most of her life in a vietnamese rice paddy does not look so fucked up like most “old” people in TNG…
My 99 year old grandmother doesn’t look a day over 75. And then there’s what they thought Riker might look like by the start of the 25th Century:

Honestly, I think with Frakes they pretty much nailed it.
Went a little overboard with Stewart, though.
Conversely, Stewart plays up Picard’s elderliness in Star Trek Picard for some reason. It’s intentional, because the flashback scenes in the first season have him acting like he just finished filming Nemesis.
But I was actually just reading somewhere that Jean-Luc Picard is actually suppose to be significantly older than Stewart and that’s the first time I’ve ever heard that. shrugs
