So far away we wait for the day
For the lives all so wasted and gone
We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days
Through the fire and the flames we carry on!You’ll have to keep us updated!
What’s your secret? Mine refuse to produce flowers
Yes, what fertilizer do you use? mine’s like 4-5 years and no buds
Mine is going on 5 years iirc.
Ooh,
I just read your other comment where you mentioned iguanas,
so my guess is that you are from the parts where it can grow naturally.Mine still looks like strings of spaghetti:
Damn, just planting some lol I hope it won’t take that long for me.
That looks really skinny. Even the seedlings I have are thicker
yeah, unfortinatley beeng from temperate, inland climate had some effects on growrh
May a Bat fly by and pollinate it
You may need to manually pollinate. The flowers are MASSIVE so get out there at night and get a look.
How long have you had that plant? I propagated one from a neighbor about 4 years ago and it has hardly grown (planted directly in the ground). It’s probably 50% thicker than the one in the photo, but is still the same +/- 2 ft long as when I planted it. Looks otherwise healthy.
Lots of water…runs contrary to what youd think a cactus wants…lots of sun. It’s been about 5 years for this one.
So weird. I’m in south Florida so (ordinarily) there’s no shortage of water. Maybe I’ll pull it out and put it in direct sunlight - currently it’s in maybe a 2/3 sun spot.
Mine is under a screened patio, sun all day. I have to keep my stuff inside the screens or the iguanas eat everything.
Is this the first step towards becoming flaming dragon?
