I came up with this meme after the producer of This Machine Kills said he bought a punching bag to let off steam after recording episodes. Their last 3 have been absolute bangers for this rage inducement
So many niche podcasts I’ve never heard of.
Once you listen to one they start guesting on each others shows and next thing you know you’re down the rabbithole
Jathan Sadowski and Ed Zitron getting angry about tech bullshit is an absolute vibe for me lol
Same, and also Séamus Malekafzali’s righteous, impotent, and hopeful anger about the middle east.
And with Jathan I love the extra layer of insurance bullshit he explores. It goes to show how this technology is used to make things worse
yeah, it’s always cathartic and educational to listen to him, he has an insane amount o knowledge about the tech and insurance industries… I really want to read his book

Knowing how evil works makes me mad, not knowing how evil me mad but in a worse way. A good podcast that informs me is the good mad.

… this is why I have to pause my podcasts while doing kitchen work at home if my spouse is around.
They can’t seem to understand why I listen to such depressing/enraging content and I don’t fault them for it.
